Why do some families have traditions, what is the reason behind continuing something again and agian?

    I think that it is a way of bringing them back to their roots, and teaching little kids a little of their history.

    I agree with Geneva, but I think that sometimes tradition is maybe just created out of a funny habit that certian family members do.
